SWIMGA Plant Sale

Click to expand info for this event. The first Master Gardeners came together in Washington State in the early 1970s. The Extension Horticulturist was overwhelmed with questions from residents about gardening, lawns, trees, etc. He thought that it would be great to train some interested volunteer gardeners to help him field these questions, so he developed a training program and the Master Gardeners were born. The Indiana Master Gardener program was started by Purdue University in 1975.

Frog Follies

A Rod Run for Street Rodders. By Street Rodders. Since 2010 Frog Follies can boast that it is the largest independent PRE ‘49 Street Rod event held in the entire nation. Each August, approximately 3,000 street rods rumble into Evansville, Indiana for three fun-filled days at the Vanderburgh 4-H Center. Things to do include the swap meet and commercial vendors area, games, Women’s World shopping, Friday and Saturday night entertainment, delicious food options, Frog Follies memorabilia, and the famous Frog Follies Rod Run T-Shirts.
